So Who Is Glenyce?

Hi I’m the founder of ENERGY SOUND HEAL, (previously Blackwood Sound Therapy). We are situated in a beautiful setting in the lower Adelaide Hills.

I’m passionate about what I do and as a musician, I’ve been working with individuals and groups in professional and community settings for over 40 years.

This has led me to see and experience the energetic healing power of music/sound to effect positive changes in peoples’ lives.

My background is in performance as a freelance musician, private and classroom music teacher and Music Director for children’s television. I am a dedicated and highly skilled community musician with a heart for bringing groups of people together to share and celebrate life through music and therapeutic sound.

On a personal level, I find Sound Relaxation, Sound Therapy and the principles and practices of The Energy Codes to have tremendous benefit in my everyday life, including aspects of recovery from trauma and what has been severe weekly migraines. I now view and embody a different perspective that shows up from the inside out as a lighter more joy filled life, open to trust the unfolding of rich meaning and purpose no matter what is happening.

This process has transitioned me into additional studies and eventually to practice as a Community Sound worker, an Accredited Practitioner of Sound Therapy and as an Energy Codes(R) Certified Coach.

I offer you the invitation to work with the energy beneath your story. This truly has the power to energetically shift you into viewing life from a different perspective: to land and embody more of your true essence. It will naturally manifest as a more joy filled life full of purpose, service and fulfillment.

My Professional Background

Performance from SA Opera to Piano Bar work, Private Music Teaching business, MD in Children’s Television, Music Teacher in Schools, Community musician i.e Church MD, conductor of singing groups, composer for children and community projects.

Since completing my training with the British Academy of Sound Therapy in 2015, I have practised Sound Therapy in a wide range of settings.

I am a member of the International Institute for Complementary Therapists.

What leads me to this work?

What leads me to this work?

My lifetime work as a professional musician led me to see and experience the energetic healing power of music/sound to have positive affect on all aspects of the human experience: spiritual, mental, emotional and physical.

I have always loved to play instruments and sing, improvising to the energy in a room full of people or to small groups or individuals. Magic happens, often stuff that I cannot explain on any rational level. This universal energy fills me with gratitude and awe. It feels like pure love and compassion going to where it is most needed, bringing rest and healing to our energy systems.

It was when I recognised my own need for healing that I began to explore the power of sound healing in a much more focused and intentional way.

I had observed and experienced to some degree its effect on others, now what could it do for me as well as for others if I added ‘intention + sound’ to invite healing to go to where it is most needed?

So began my own healing, or perhaps it has always been on a continuum, it’s just that now it is more conscious, invited and intentional.

It has been and still is an awesome experience and it delights me to have opportunities to facilitate this work and to share it with other beautiful souls such as yourselves.
